Glen Coe, UK equivalent to Route 66

The new year has started at pace with many bookings and inquiries as travellers shape/refine their Highlands and Islands adventure. Scotland is expecting a 4th consecutive bumper tourist season fuelled by an excellent exchange rate, security issues in other parts of the world and many surveys positioning this country as the most beautiful. There is also the ‘Outlander Effect’ generated by Diana Gabaldon’s books which continues to captivate audiences and instil an insatiable desire to visit locations from the serialisation of the story which is recognised as historically accurate. Also, the A82 from Loch Lomond to Glencoe has again been voted the best section of road in the UK by a long margin and now branded as the equivalent of Route 66 in the USA.

This year has started with a West Coast Tourism Summit, a raft of talks on historical events, research on old stories and new destinations and the opportunity to head of the Alps for some fabulous skiing - bring it on!

Please email me before you book your Highland tour as this is the best way to tailor your expectations further and refine your requirements. The website is merely a guide to infinite possibilities.
